Mala is a prolific songwriter & an accomplished pianist & vocalist. Her CDs include "He's My Father" (duo with father, jazz pianist/composer Mal Waldron) & "Lullabye" (tribute to her godmother, Billie Holiday).
Her last CD, "Always There" was licensed by Columbia Records (Japan) & voted one of the "Top 20 Jazz CDs of 2006"by JazzUSA.
Equally captivating on vocals as on piano (a la Nina Simone, Diana Krall, Roberta Flack,) Mala is currently working on new music for the next release. Stay tuned for updates!
